Types of veneer
Either composite or porcelain can be used to improve the appearance of a single tooth, or multiple teeth. During your assessment, we will closely analyse your smile, identifying which method can best be used to address your smile concerns.
- Porcelain veneer: considered the gold standard of veneers treatment. Porcelain veneers are hand-crafted, highly durable and identical to real teeth.
- No-prep veneer: no-prep veneers are increasingly popular, allowing patients to have a beautiful result created from porcelain, but without the need for drilling or the removal of any tooth enamel. They’re a more conservative alternative to traditional porcelain veneers.
The porcelain used is extremely fine, which means we can bond it to your teeth, without it resulting in a result that’s too thick compared with the rest of your teeth.

Your veneers plan
You can expect your veneers plan to include:
- A comprehensive dental health examination, including X-rays and photographs.
- A minimum of two appointments.
- Digital scans of your tooth and the adjacent teeth.
- Porcelain or composite natural-looking veneer (or veneers in the case of a smile makeover).
