Implant retained dentures are a set of dentures that are fixed in position with implants. Usually 4 or 6 implants are used to fix a bespoke set of teeth in position, and you will be able to click your dentures easily at home when you need to clean them.

Placement of All-on-4 dental implants
Before treatment commences a meeting with the implant surgeon will be held. The consultation is your opportunity to ask the implant surgeon any questions and for them to find if you can have All-on-4 dental implants. The implant surgeon will then carry out a number of tests to determine if you need any teeth removed before the implants are placed. If you are a successful applicant for the treatment, the implant surgeon will explain how the treatment works and arrange an appointment to fit the implants.
Your implant surgeon will position the implants at very specific angles. The information harnessed from our CBCT scanner allows us to see exactly which areas of your jaw in which to place the implants for long-term success.
Once your implants are positioned abutments will then be attached. These are small devices that connect the implants to the new restorations. A temporary set of teeth will then be attached and the oral surgeon together with the restorative dentist will examine your new smile and the fit of the implants.
Once your jaw has healed after the implant surgery (approximately 6 months), we can proceed to your fitting appointment, when your permanent teeth can be fitted.
After your implants have been fitted, you will be told to attend regular appointments, so that at Bespoke Dental Fulham we can check the progress of the treatment.
